When you get the paid version of this do you get a simple configuration menu or do you have to mess with the xml files like in the free version
Thank you for your interest. It does not include a configuration menu, you have to edit the settings and content files in your favorite editor.

We still didn’t got a solution for the carousel I’ve sent you weeks a go. When I set the _self target the carousel won’t react on clicks so the only way to get it working is the _blank target. Do you have a soltion for this.

Everything works fine, see the previous reply regarding _self. Also do the following: simply upload the files from the download package in a folder on your server and send us a link to test it from your web server. You can post the link here or send it via contact email.

_self and _blank works just fine. Check the online example for the product again, click on the logo image and you’ll see it opens our site homepage using _self and click on a image and it will open a new window. Make sure you are using the latest flash player version from adobe site and provide an url with your example or simply upload the files from the download package in a folder on your server and send us a link to test in also here from your web server.

purchased the 3D Carousel product.. i see the index.html but when opened with text editor, i do not see any source code to edit, except when launched in the web, and then when i right click and “view the page source code” it shows the source code but can not be edited..
all i need to know is how to make this work on my site.. thats all.. you FAQ instructions does no better job in explaining the directions.. for example, am i pasting the source code into the HTML page of the downloaded product and upload into the root of my website in the webserver..? or am i pasting the source code directly on the HTML (page) / PHP (page) of my website..
and which code should i be copying and pasting: “the Basic Integration or the Javascript” or both..?
I will appreciate a quicker response.

You need to copy and paste the part that’s between the “” and the “” of the carousel’s “index.html” into the “” area of your website’s page.. and then the entire part between the “” and “” tags should be pasted into the place on your webpage where you want the carousel to go.
the parts that didn’t show in quotes above were first head and /head, then body and /body.

have sent repeated emails to your support team concerning why after 12hrs and counting i have not been able to get this component working on my site and still no response..
maybe im not that programming novice, but i expect a little difficulty.. you might want to consider uploading a utube vid on how to install these products.. in the meantime, please advise me on the installation process to know what im doing wrong.. i finally copied all the scripts to my site and uploaded and still no sign of such component..
to understand better, does it make any different in uploading the downloaded products to a different folder from the main web index.swf n .php in the webserver..?

I purchased the Flash-menu (commercial)… It works beautiful on my personal PC, where I test it.
However, when I unzipped and built on my webserver (Joomla/PHP), nothing shows at all other then the “stage area,” no jpgs nor pngs. Empty window.
I carefully configured the xml files (content and settings), made the proper change on the php file responsible for the main page display.

My intention is to replace the current demo-lesson play menu with your Flash version. I reached the end of the road….. PLEASE HELP ME!

Apparently you got a cross browser embed problem. I’ve checked your embed code and it’s not quite right. In Firefox and Chrome your code works fine in IE is the problem. Here’s my embed code version. Copy and paste in your page, it should work fine in IE also:

Please make sure that on the carousel-content.xml at a menuItem -> media tag the target attribute is set to _self and not _blank.
When I set the target attribute to _self It won’t react on any click.

This option is not available, but you have all the source files inside the package and you can modify them to suit your particular needs.

was wondering if you could give me a tip on how to change the description to display onClick and not on rollover. But want to keep tooltip onRollover.

This option is not available in the xml, you can only show / hide the description.

Open the index.html from the download package and there is the following code for embeding the swf file. Go to bgcolor property and change with the color you want.

Hi, When the page loads the speed is fast, then after a rollover it slows down. How can I have it not load be so fast?
Also sometimes it stops rotating and seems to be stuck. Is that the known issue? Is it my image sizes?
