Some characters may be missing because of that (the original swf should be able to print characters like Æ»€âæèêíó). Look if there’s a fonts folder in the Library of the fla file. Make sure the font files there are exported for action script with the right name (default should be “Default” / “Default bold”). After that you just need to export a new swf on a machine which has the OS locale (location, language, etc.) set to the appropriate country/language so that it includes the needed characters. Make sure to save the fla for Flash CS3 or CS4 (in the save dialog) (the fonts in CS5 are handled differently).
